Dua pertiga dari calon pembeli PC di AS berencana untuk membeli sebuah MacBook atau Dell laptop musim liburan ini, menurut sebuah studi oleh ChangeWave dirilis Senin. ChangeWave salah satu perusahaan survey penjualan notebook di USA mengungkapkan bahwa dari 3.669 konsumen ingin membeli notebook. Dan 33 persen memilih notebook Mac dan 33 persen lainnya memilih notebook Dell. Sisanya menggunakan notebook yang lain.

Dari kedua perusahaan tersebut menyatakan bahwa penjualan tahun ini mengalami penurunan dari tahun lalu. Menurut ChangeWave "untuk tahun ini 8 persen saja yang hanya berkeinginan membeli notebook, menurun di banding tahun lalu sebesar 11 persen" dikutip dari Cnet.

Kelebihan dari masing-masing produk ini dari segi desain dan stylis orang memilih Apple Mac dan dari segi nilai dan kualitas orang akan memilih Dell. Memang tahun ini penjualan mengalami penurunan mungkin karena dampak dari krisis global.
